Theodist Limited has renewed its sponsorship of the Theodist MBB Marlins, continuing its support for rugby union and community sport in Papua New Guinea for a third consecutive season.
The renewed partnership reinforces Theodist’s commitment to supporting sporting organisations that promote teamwork, discipline, and community engagement.
Since the partnership began in 2024, Theodist has supported the Marlins’ efforts to grow rugby union and strengthen connections within the National Capital District sporting community.
Speaking on the renewed sponsorship, Theodist Limited Corporate Development Manager Ryan Pini said the partnership reflects the company’s ongoing support for organisations that demonstrate strong values both on and off the field.
“The Marlins represent the values we believe in at Theodist – commitment, teamwork, and perseverance,” Mr Pini said.
“Over the past two seasons, the team has continued to show great determination both on and off the field, and we are proud to continue supporting their journey.”
The partnership has helped the Marlins continue their work in promoting rugby union while encouraging greater participation and community involvement through sport.
Theodist Chief Executive Officer Kumar Baliah said the renewal also reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to supporting organisations and initiatives across Papua New Guinea.
“For more than 50 years, Theodist has remained committed to supporting organisations across Papua New Guinea, and partnerships such as this allow us to contribute to initiatives that bring communities together,” Mr Baliah said.
The Theodist MBB Marlins continue to represent the importance of teamwork, commitment, and perseverance, values that remain at the heart of both sport and community development.
Through this renewed sponsorship, Theodist continues to play a role in supporting local sport and helping create opportunities for athletes, teams, and communities to come together.
Theodist’s ongoing support of the MBB Marlins highlights the positive impact that business partnerships can have in strengthening sport and community engagement in Papua New Guinea.
As the Marlins prepare for another season, the renewed partnership marks another step forward in a relationship built on shared values, community spirit, and a commitment to growing rugby union in the country.
