There is a wealth of young and talented entrepreneurs in Papua New Guinea whose creativity, passion, and determination continue to inspire. Earlier this year, during the judging of the 3rd Annual LILY Homemade Competition, entries were received from across the country — showcasing incredible innovation through homemade and handcrafted creations.

After careful judging across three categories — Edible, Wearable, and Useful — the top prizes went to:
- Nicholar Boas (Edible) – for a mineral-rich blue herbal salt made from traditional ingredients, offering potential health benefits for Papua New Guineans with lifestyle-related illnesses.
- Geno Geno (Useful) – for creating a soil mulch made from discarded betel nut husks, an innovative and eco-friendly approach to waste reuse.
- Carole Cholai (Wearable) – for designing a wearable bra with comforting properties, created to support breast cancer survivors.
Judges evaluated all entries based on quality, creativity, and originality, with finalists either attending in person or submitting via video or product sample. Those who joined in person had the opportunity to share the story behind their creations and connect directly with judges, giving their presentations a personal touch.
